1606 New Developments in Frictional Contact of Flexible Multibody Dynamical Systems

This minisymposium solicits research addressing new computational developments in frictional contact behavior occurring in flexible multibody dynamical systems. Papers of interest include, but are not limited to, advanced frictional contact models, efficient algorithms for solution of frictional contact problems, advanced contact search algorithms, flexible multibody applications of frictional contact and their efficient and accurate computational solution, stability and loss of stability in flexible multibody systems experiencing frictional contact, wave propagation in flexible multibody contact zones, and acoustic emission of flexible multibody systems undergoing frictional contact.
