Application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of computational mechanics has been done for a long time. However, many examples of applying deep learning technology currently dominating the world to computational mechanics have not been reported yet.
The purpose of this mini-symposium is to discuss how to apply artificial intelligence such as machine learning and deep learning to computational mechanics. We welcome anything related to computational mechanics or artificial intelligence. Particularly by using deep learning, it is necessary to discuss examples that make it possible to simulate objects that were difficult to simulate in the past, or to improve the accuracy of simulations that have been done in the past.
