Beijing International Center for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (BICTAM) is an international non-overnmental scientific organization, which is affiliated to the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) and operates in close collaboration with the International Council for Science (ICSU) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Supported by The Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM), BICTAM aims to promote the development and application of mechanics in Asia and the Pacific region.
