Short Course Proposal Requests

Proposals to hold a short course at the 13th World Congress on Computational Mechanics are being accepted.  These must be submitted to secretariat@wccm2018.org by December 18, 2017.

Please note the following:

• The short course will take place on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Marriott Marquis, where the congress will be held,  as part of the pre-congress activities of WCCM 2018. 
• Short course participants will pay $275 each.  Each short course will have a continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon break.
• The short course will be cancelled if the income from the short course does not cover the cost of holding the short course (including instructor fees).  
• Instructor fee is $750, which will be split between co-organizers if more than one.  The fee will be applied to the instructor's congress registration.

A proposal should be sent to secretariat@wccm2018.org by December 18, 2017 containing the following information:

• Chair and organizers
• Title and objectives
• Outline of the program
