Registration Information

 

Registration for the congress is now open.  Please read important information regarding registration may below.  A link to online registration may be found at the end. 

 

The registration fee includes access to all the technical sessions, the welcome reception, meeting refreshments, registration materials, printed program and mobile app.  The congress banquet is included as indicated.  We are also providing several  packages that include the registration fee and lodging (with applicable taxes) for significant savings (see second table).  All fees are in $USD.

Student registration: enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program. Certification of enrollment will be requested.

IACM Affiliate Member: If you are a member of an International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM) affiliate you may use this rate.

 

A limited number of registration packages will be available until April 30, 2018 (or as long as the supply lasts) and may be purchased during the registration process.

The packages include the cost of hotel nights (including tax) in the Marriott Marquis Hotel which is the congress venue and the congress registration fee. The hotel rates are $299/night (see Accommodations for further details).

Terms

• The package includes hotel room charges ($299/night), applicable taxes, and registration fee for one person.
• Packages are non-refundable (but transferable).  The dates can be modified within the dates of the congress depending on room availability.
• Must be pre-paid at the time of registration and before April 30, 2018.
• Rates quoted are for single room/single occupant.  The room may be occupied by two people at no additional room charge.  If the second person is a congress participant, a separate congress registration will need to be made for that person.
• If a third or fourth person is included, there is a charge of $30/night/person + tax.  You will need to indicate the number of people in the room, but charges for the third and fourth person will be collected by the hotel from the individuals at the time of the congress.  Separate congress registrations will need to be made for third and foruth person if congress participants.
• The nights occupied must be between July 22 and July 27, 2018.  If you need any other nights, contact the congress secretariat.
• No other discounts apply.
• Room reservation information will be sent to you within a few days of payment.

Refund policy (for all registrations):  If you need to cancel, you may do so with a written request before May 15, 2018 with a $100 cancellation fee.  After May 15, 2018 there will be no refunds.  (Note if you purchased a registration package, it is nonrefundable.)  Requests should be sent to secretariat@wccm2018.org.

Payment options:  You may pay by credit card only or if paying on site, you may also pay in cash.  Wire transfer is no longer an optionl
